Did you see in the credits that the Inside Out folks worked with Paul Ekman? I don't know enough about Haidt to speculate about whether Ekman is one of his influences, but I had a little geeky "Hey!" moment in the theater.

Ekman is heavily cited by Haidt, e.g., in this 1999 paper:
