I co-slept with both my boys, meaning they often slept with me when they were under one year old. After that I don't think they ever slept with me.

I found it a blessing because I didn't have to get up to feed them.

I will say that people I knew were worried about SIDS at the time, because of the Solomon story of the two women and splitting the baby.

I very much appreciated your mathematical approach to the study. Of course, now I know that the question might be, would I risk the .08% that I would lose for my child to sleep with me? Maybe, maybe not.

I would say that it would make me feel better to know that the likelihood did not increase much if I had lost my child to SIDS.
