Kim (in IA)

After reading you last post where you wondered why you want to do another race, I consulted a U of IA professor who has a joint appointment in pharmaceutics and experience as a runner. His response to the fact that you didn't really have fun but you are already planning to do it again- "It's clear that she's addicted."

So, here's a question. If I started running at age 29 but have taken time off for two pregnancies and post-partums, do I get 12 years before I start to slow? Maybe we'll have to plan to do an event together when we turn 40 (near our peaks)!

I've enjoyed reading your post-5K blogs. Thanks for sharing them!
