I think it is about time I admit to myself that I am never going to finish that felt Jesse Tree I started working on twelve years ago.

I made mine over several evenings with a group of friends. We would each make 4 of whatever ornament we were working on.
I haven't managed to put the same sort of group together for the felt Jesus Tree for Lent...and 7 years later it's still not finished. Maybe this year? My 12 year old is super crafty and might help...

I'm just not crafty enough to sustain it long enough to do something like that. I made the big felt tree (kept that -- it looks like it could be repurposed) and about half the little thingies and then I gave up.
I can do small projects. Last night I rejuvenated my Advent wreath with new ribbons. (Cheated: made the bows by bunching the ribbon together in the middle with pink and purple ponytail bands I stole from my daughter. Who has floral wire? Not me.)
I like your idea of organizing it as a party with friends.

I would be happy to help you with them if you still have the supplies.

Hire one of your kids to do it. A friend of mine just hired her teen daughter to finish her Creative Memories album started almost that long ago. Delegate!

"MARGARET. NEST AT YOUR OWN HOUSE."
I am laughing so hard at that.
