Barbara C.

When my almost-five-year-old crawls into our over-full family bed in the middle of the night I keep trying to remember that soon she really will be too big.

My oldest has some SPD which makes our physical interactions interesting. My #2 became anti-hug and kiss from ages 2-6, but she still loved to snuggle.

I am really sensitive about my personal space, too. That's one reason I usually wean around 15 months. I hit a tipping point from loving it to needing my space back.

But I try to remember to make myself available on the couch or family bed for snuggle time and that it is just as important as laundry.
